Microsoft Office 2007 - Office Ready Program
The Office Ready program has been extended to many systems using the Windows XP operating system.
This is in addition to all Vista OS systems, which have been Office Ready for several months.
What does this mean?
- Business Partners can sell systems without having to pre-load the application for MS Office 2007
- Customers who purchase a compatible XP OS system receive a free 60 day trial of MS Office 2007
- At any time during the 60 day trial the customer may buy a Medialess Licence Key (MLK) for MS Office 2007 Standard, SBE or Professional from a Business partner and activate the full version quickly and easily. By doing so Lenovo will receive a bounty of up to US$45.
If the customer chooses to purchase Office 2007 after the trial expires they must buy the full retail version from a Business Partner and install the software themselves.
Action required:
Many customers who have purchased a Vista OS system have already taken advantage of this program. Many Lenovo systems with Windows XP are now Office Ready and you should encourage your end user customers to purchase an activation key within the 60 day trial period.
